How can I remember the Truth about my own Abundance?

Abundance is sometimes used as a code word in New Age parlance. It means money. That’s not what I mean. 

Oh, don’t misunderstand. Money is definitely part of abundance, but, it might surprise you to learn, not the major part. Money, well, more money is a result of abundance. 

The roots of the word abundance come from Latin meaning wave, and herein lies a clue to the remembering in the query.  

First, abundance itself is a feeling that results from a state of being. That state of being can be characterized as a sense that there is enough and that you have enough. 

Second, fortunately for all of us, enoughness is a decision. That’s right. You decide whether there is enough, and you have enough of it. 

Interestingly, almost all abundance fears are fears for something in the future, even if that future is as soon as tomorrow.  

This is why it’s always good to have an affirmation like Imelda Shanklin’s above. It’s a reminder that you live in an abundant world, that there is no limit to abundance, that abundance is always sufficient unto whatever is needed, that it can arrive in whatever form you need it in, and that it can come from more places than you can imagine.
