How can I make sure purpose meets peace?

It’s rare for humans to be clear about purpose, I mean really clear. Often, it’s because purpose is revealed through process so we can’t know about it till it reveals itself. 

We like to think we’re clear about purpose, though, and that creates its own difficulties and its own blessings. Mostly, we tend to be ambivalent about purpose. 

However, we get to work with what we do have, not what we don’t, so take any sense of purpose in your life, and tune into your body. This is a great place to use the human energy system, also known as the Chakras. 

Check in with each chakra. How does each one react to this intended purpose of yours? If there’s peace or quietude, move on. If not, stop and ask what that chakra needs to get to peace. You’ll be surprised at the answers. 

The coolest part of energy work like this is that the body never lies—not because it has a finely developed moral code, but because bodies can’t lie. Where you have turmoil about your purpose is where it will turn up in your life. 

So say you get to your Fifth Turquoise Throat Chakra, and there you find turmoil. That’s where you’ll find it in your life. So what did you say that you wish you hadn’t? Or, more likely, what do you need to say that you haven’t? 

Figure out a way to speak whatever it is kindly and gently, and your choices will land gently. Scream it, and your choices land harshly. As within, so without.
