Ampersand Answers: Insight to Action
It’s not the volume of information that matters.
It’s the insight that resonates that you
choose to act on consistently that makes the difference.

The Question:
How can I make better insight lead to action?
&mpersand Answers:
First and foremost, insight comes to those who ask for it. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to remind myself and the people I work with.
Insight requires two things: silence and the space to receive it. Without it, the path to action is known more colloquially as Trial and Error.
Instead, when you make space to receive insight, the actual illumination will show you how to begin to act consistently on it.
I tend to think of these consistent actions as slates on the ground that light up as indications of what to do next.
If you run out of steam on the action front, stop. Return to insight space, and let yourself get reenergized by your vision. We all need reminding of why we’re doing what we’re doing. It can get lost in the busy-ness of the everyday.
Go ahead, get inspired all over again. It’ll keep you in consistent action better than anything else I know.
