Ampersand Answers: In Front of Me

The Question:

How do I find consistent happiness?

&mpersand Answers:

So much, I mean so much of life is paying attention. Have you ever thought about that expression?

Paying attention.

It means there’s a cost to attention. If I’m paying attention to something, it means, by default, that there are things to which I am not paying attention.

It’s easy to forget that we live on a planet based on the Complementarity of Opposites—a metaphysical version of the notion of balance.

If there’s misery, then somewhere, there’s equal happiness.

Practicing gratitude—are you breathing? Good, there’s oxygen—whilst you are paying attention makes the happy moments last longer and come more often.
