Susan, that's a terrific spin on Gluttony. I will change how I think of that term going forward. Thank you, Angela

When I least feel like meditating is usually when it's needed the most. I enjoyed your post, especially the list of all the reasons one can't find time. Daily meditation is not a have to now it's a get to. I work for an HMO and I also get to teach meditation as a stress relief practice. I'm sharing some of my tools on my blog Daily Spiritual Tools and would love your feedback. Namaste, Sherry

As I prepared for my solo backpacking trip though India, and whenever I felt a rush of panic or fear while thousands of miles away from my home, I held the mantra, "I am one with the world and safe at all times." I used this mantra in almost every thought and then, one day, I didn't need to remind myself anymore. I just know it.

This mantra also reminds me not to fear the moment of my death.

hello Susan, Thank you for your delightful review of Overcomers. I love that you highlighted my 'heart-storming' versus brainstorming. I love the mix of stories in the book - all so amazing, inspiring and soul-restoring. The book is truely a GIFT and a stunning testimony to the brilliant resilience of the human spirit. It is a book that encourages us to bring out the best in ourselves which allows for miracles to happen.
Blessings and best wishes,
Nelie
