The Feel Test

seed__double_headerR

As I write this, I’m in a huge process of figuring out what I want in one major area of my life. In the rest of my life, I basically know what I want. So when I came across this “test” for not-knowing-what-I-want times, it resonated for me completely.

Try this. If you don’t know what you want, how would you feel if you did know?

The thing is, most of us already do know how we want to feel about our choices. When we know the feeling we want to have, we can test our possibilities against those feelings.

So in this area of my life where I’m not clear, I want to feel clear, connected, peaceful, and a bubbling joy from within. And it was easy to answer how I wanted to feel despite the fact that it’s hard to know what I want.

By using the feelings I’m seeking as a gauge for the rightness of my choices, it’s inevitable that I’ll figure out what I want. It works inerrantly for everyone at all times.

Be brilliant,

Susan Corso
